Great game!

Make sure to mention the rules at least twice.
Someone complained that they didn't know that you can stick the spaghetti to the table. Learning experience: Just ask ;-)

Hi Don

Much of the play testing I did with colleagues never seemed to last much longer that 30 minutes.. most of the other time is taken up with explaining the rules and the introspection of the outcomes.

One of the reasons we limited the number of playable pegs was to minimize the time it takes to run a session.

I'd be interested to see what the community can do to shorten it.

Thanks James, this seems very interesting.
My only concern is that it could take a long time to play. Have you ever implemented a smaller, quicker version of the game?

Hi Don, finally got the chance to play this one... I did decide to start with the visioning and backlog creation first and played 3 iterations of 5 minutes. The resort brochure worked out very well, even the transition from regular stakeholder to PO. the only thing I would leave out next time are the magazines. I felt they actually limited the participants in their creativity. Next time I will add more colored paper, markers and tape instead. Thank you!

I find this game very exciting. I play it with ropes instead. Hold N ropes (2 N ends) together. Each one grabs 2 ends, then step back. The ropes allow for more flexibility and decrease unwanted physical proximity.

Great question Mike.

So by imperative I mean a statement like " It shall ...." or "It must ..."

Hope that helps,

Mike McCullough

Thanks for pointing that out, Tim. I went ahead and added a link to it in the "see also" section, though it's possible that the two entries should simply be merged.
